Handwoven from natural rattan by skilled artisans in Borneo, the small rattan pendant light brings warmth, texture, and a touch of global style to your home. Its intricate loops and lines showcase generations of craftsmanship, making each piece a work of art.

Perfectly sized for bedsides, powder rooms, bathrooms, or cosy nooks, this versatile pendant shines on its own, but truly comes to life when styled in a cluster or at varying heights for a striking feature.

I want you to love the lights you bring into your home from Lighthouse Lane. If you change your mind about your purchase, I’m happy to offer an exchange, store credit or refund within 30 days, provided your light is returned unused and in its original packaging.

In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged or faulty, please get in touch and I’ll work with you to arrange a repair, replacement, store credit or refund.

Are they really that easy to clean?

Yes! With just a little regular care, your light shade will continue to shine for years. To keep it looking its best, here are a few simple tips:

  1. Gently remove dust using a large (unused) wall paintbrush. Its long soft bristles easily reach into the weave to clean all the nooks and crannies. Alternatively, you can use a vacuum with a soft furnishing attachment. Just remember to support the light's weight while cleaning to avoid any damage.
  2. Occasionally, you may notice small grass-like strands poking out of the rattan or seagrass. Don't pull on them, gently trim any loose fibres with fine scissors or cuticle clippers.
  3. Keep it away from moisture, and only hang it inside – grey is not its most flattering colour.
  4. Ensure it is hung in a well ventilated place as they doesn't like humid environments.

How can I be sure of the quality of lights?

I have personally chosen each of my makers, prioritising small, family-run businesses that share my passion for quality and craftsmanship. There is no middleman in the process. I work directly with the artisans, and they set the price for their wares. I don't negotiate because I believe in fair, ethical pricing that honours their craft.

The makers I first engaged are the same ones I continue to work with today, and over the years, we’ve built strong, lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

I visit Indonesia to quality control each shipment, ensuring that every light meets my high standards. If I wouldn't hang it in my own home, I wont sell it.

Each piece is made in small batches, and the attention to detail in every weave and curve makes them a unique and lasting addition to your home.

How easy is it to find the perfect electrical kit for my new pendant light shade?

While I don't sell the electrical kits at this stage, I've done all the hard work for you. When you make a purchase, I email you links to the best electrical kits for your specific pendant light shade. These kits are from trusted Australian suppliers, readily available, and cost from approximately $25.
